Scott G. Winter, CAE

Chief Training Officer

Scott Winter has spent over 18 years as Assessment Division Manager in the City of Milwaukee’s Assessor’s Office. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and has earned a CAE and RES designation from the International Association of Assessing Officers. He is a Certified General Appraiser as well as an adjunct professor at the Waukesha County Technical College, and is a Certified USPAP Instructor. Scott is an experienced speaker for IAAO, WAAO (Wisconsin Association of Assessing Officers), and Wisconsin League of Municipalities. He is the recipient of IAAO’s Distinguished Research & Development Award, and IAAO’s Technical Essay of the Year Award. Scott has also served on IAAO’s Education Committee, Research Committee, Curriculum Development Team, and Executive Board. Scott also served on the WAAO Executive Board and is a Past President of WAAO.

My course offerings are sensitive to the new online learner, yet provide the quality learning that all students expect.

I am a Certified Distance Education Instructor, (CDEI), which requires additional training by the International Distance Education Certification Center, (IDECC). My experience also includes teaching online courses to various students at Waukesha County Technical College, (WCTC) for many years.
